Career Technology
Welcome to the award winning Stebbins Career & Technology Education Department.

The Career Technical Education department prepares students for life beyond the classroom by providing them employability skills along with the background needed to succeed in a post secondary institution. Courses are designed based on current data and research in business and industry to give students the utmost advantage upon exiting Stebbins High School.

In addition to the course requirements for graduation, we provide a host of curricular offerings, spanning all disciplines and increasing the breadth and depth of our academic programs. This includes a full complement of college-prep courses, ten award winning career/technical programs that consist of nineTech Prep programs in which completers can receive a $3000 scholarship to Sinclair Community College.

The broad range of career programs that we offer will prepare students with the job skills and competencies needed to secure employment and, for the working professional, we provide opportunities to upgrade existing business skills. We offer the business administration university parallel program that is designed for the student who plans to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a baccalaureate degree in a business discipline. All associate degree programs within the Business Technologies Division are fully certified by ACBSP (Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs). Students in our other Career Tech Programs can earn college credit in high school and many choose to continue their education at Sinclair Community College.

Our goal is to provide the best educational experience directed toward gratifying careers after high school.
