Welcome to the Mad River Early Childhood Center!
Looking For a Preschool for your Child?
Our program is the answer you have been looking for. We offer an excellent local program with highly qualified, experienced teachers for an affordable price. Students enjoy exciting learning experiences in the classroom and in the community.

Class Experiences>>>
Busy days filled with active learning activities, creative projects and social development abound at Mad River’s Early Childhood Education Center. Learning centers around high interest themes to build thinking skills and academic knowledge while instilling social confidence. Each fun-filled day includes whole and small group activities, literacy development, stories, fine and gross motor development, and snack.
Learning Experiences and Field Trips>>>
The community plays an active role in enriching the Mad River ECEC program with field trips and school visits throughout the year. Students visit a farm to pick pumpkins. The fire department visits with a rescue vehicle each year to demonstrate fire safety. In addition to a family field trip to the library, the Dayton librarian visits to share stories, songs and rhymes with students each month. In-school programs from the Boonshoft “Exhibits to Go” entertain while promoting an interest in science. Parents are encouraged to participate in class activities, volunteer for special days, and are invited to share their talents with the school.
Positive Behavior System>>>
The entire MRECEC staff focuses on student success and recognizing positive behavior. Students work towards exciting behavior rewards each month like the Polar Express Day, an egg hunt, and carnival games as they learn positive social skills.
Mad River ECEC provides new and exciting learning experiences for your child every day.
