    I am Dror Liebenthal, CEO of Bold.org, the largest independent scholarship provider in the US with millions of students. 

    We've recently launched the $15k Young Women in STEM Scholarship and we'd love to receive more applications across the country. Since the application deadline's coming soon, we're hoping to collaborate with Stebbins High School to help fight student debt by sharing the news.

    Eligibility: Any female high school seniors and undergraduate students who are from a low-income household and are pursuing a degree in STEM can apply.

    The 2024 Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) scholarship application is now open! Please share this flyer with your network.

    JRF Scholars receive grants of up to $35,000 over four years to supplement the financial aid they receive from their colleges or universities. In addition, Scholars receive extensive support services, including career guidance and internship placement, and attend JRF’s annual multi-day "Mentoring and Leadership Conference" in New York City and other regional events throughout the year.

    Dear High School Senior:

     

    Attached is the application for the Ohio JCI Senate Charitable and Education Foundation scholarship program.  The Ohio JCI Senate C & E Foundation is made up of the life members of the Ohio JCI Senate who were members of the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees).

     

     

    You will have two (2) categories to choose from

     

    CATEGORY 1 – Academic-Based

    CATEGORY 2 – Need-Based

    CATEGORY 3 – Vocational

     

     

    In the Academic-Based, the top two (2) will receive $1,000.00. In addition, the top two (2) in Category 1 will be submitted to the US JCI Senate Foundation scholarship program and could be selected as one of the twenty (20) $1,500.00 scholarships that they will be awarding this year.

     

     

    In the Need-Based there will be four (4) winners selected with each receiving $1,000.00 scholarship.  One (1) is the “Morgan Jones Memorial Scholarship” sponsored by the Ohio JCI Senate, and an additional three (3) of which one (1) scholarship will be given to a student who is a resident in one of the following counties: Allen, Putnam or Van Wert.

     

     

    In the Vocational, the top one (1) will receive $1000. In addition, the top one (1) will be submitted to the US JCI Senate Foundation scholarship program and could be selected as one of the $1000 scholarships that they will be awarding this year.

     

     

    Please note applicants may only submit an application in one (1) category.  Please check the category in which you wish to have your application judged, and return enclosed page with your application.  Attach the category page to your application. 

     

     

    The deadline for submitting applications is January 19, 2024. Judging will take place by February 17, 2024. Winners ONLY will be notified by letter. Please do not contact the national director as they will not know the outcome for the state.

    University of Dayton Army ROTC Scholarship

    Scholarship Description:  University of Dayton ROTC scholarships are offered to any high school student nationally.  The Department of Military Science oversees the Fighting Flyer Battalion and all courses are taken on campus. Scholarships can cover the full cost of tuition and fees, $600 per a semester for books, and a $420 monthly stipend. Students receiving an ROTC scholarship can also receive a university-funded grant to cover their room and board for four years. 

    Scholarship Amount: $275,000

    Ohio Energy Project is excited to announce the annual Energy Leadership Scholarship, sponsored by Dayton Power & Light (DP&L) and Vectren. Ohio Energy Project is a non-profit organization providing STEM-related programs for students and educators residing within the DP&L and Vectren service territory.     Honda Excellence in Manufacturing

    The Honda scholarship has been available to manufacturing students since 2012. The scholarship benefits students who are passionate to pursue a career in advanced manufacturing.

    ·       Must be a graduating high school senior planning to attend one of the Community Colleges listed below

    ·       A part or full-time undergraduate student currently enrolled in certificate or degree program in manufacturing engineering/manufacturing technology or a closely related engineering discipline and attending one on the following Community Colleges in the state of Ohio:

    ·       Students may submit a scholarship application in succeeding years. Need is not a consideration in awarding scholarships except when two or more applicants have equal qualifications.

     

    Leanna Dorworth Memorial Scholarship 

    ·       Female applicant must be a full or part-time student.

    ·       Pursuing an Associates or Bachelor's degree in STEM, Manufacturing or Industrial engineering programs.

    ·       Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

    ·       Applicant must be a child or grandchild of an SME member or be a student member of SME.

    ·       Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or an undergraduate student with no more than 30 credit hours.

    ·       Preference will be given to legal citizens of North American countries but there are no geographic restrictions on the scholarship (i.e., no specific state, province, county or attend a particular institution).

    OAPSE/AFSCME Memorial Scholarship

    The OAPSE/AFSCME Memorial Scholarship Program is available to children whose parent or legal guardian is a member in good standing of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE/AFSCME Local 4/AFL-CIO). Under the program, scholarships of $2,500.00 each are awarded to at least one winner from each of the ten (10) OAPSE Districts selected from the applicants who meet the eligibility requirements.

     

    Any graduating high school senior who is a daughter or son of an active OAPSE/AFSCME member or whose legal guardian is an active OAPSE/AFSCME member and who intends to enroll in a full-time degree program in any two (2) or four (4) year accredited university, college, business or technical school is eligible to apply for a scholarship. The scholarships may be used for any field of study.
