• Hello and welcome to my webpage.  My name is Joe Hampton and I have been in Mad River for 6 years now.  I spent the first 10 years of my career working for the Kroger Co.  The first 8 years of those 10 years I spent with the management team floating around the Dayton area running various stores. The last 2 years of my career were spent with the Produce Merchandising team setting up new stores and training new personnel.  After a long hard decision to chase my dreams I decided to leave the Kroger Co. and go back to school and get my teaching license.  It was at the University of Dayton that I fell in love with the middle school and decided to concentrate my studies within 4th -9th grade.  I am currently licensed to teach 4th - 9th grade math and/or science.  I am also working on my principal's licensure through the Concorida University in Chicago.
Outside of my profession, I spend every waking moment with my family which consists of two boys and the most wonderful woman I could have ever married.  My wife and I have been married for 20 years and both love watching our boys grow up in school, sports, and Christ.  My oldest, Carson, is heavily involved in cross country, basketball, and softball.  My youngest, Connor, is involved in soccer, basketball, and softball.  In our free time we find ourselves in the forest somewhere hiking, camping and enjoying the great outdoors.
I greatly appreciate you letting me have your child for the next 9 months and look forward to getting to know them and watching them grow.  I understand that this learning process is a joint effort and is going to take all of us together to make it the most successful for your child.  I would encourage you to get invovled in your child's education to the most of your abilities as it will only benefit them in the long run.  My door is always opened to you.  Please feel free to contact me and/or stop by at anytime.
