RE-EMPLOYMENT PUBLIC NOTIFICATION:

Marianne Moots, Mad River Local School District EMIS Coordinator, will retire on December 31, 2025, and is seeking reemployment as District EMIS Coordinator with Mad River Local School District beginning January 1, 2026. This topic will be discussed at a Public Hearing on Tuesday November 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the regularly-scheduled November School Board Meeting to be held in the Mad River Local Schools Board Room in the Administrative Office building located at 801 Old Harshman Road, Riverside, Ohio 45431.

Custodian Sub (used as needed)

$17.00 per hour

Must pass BCI and FBI fingerprint checks

Requirements:

1.  A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.

2.  An ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and climb ladders/scaffolding.

3.  Ability to perform moderate physical job functions.

4.  Minimum age of 18 years old.

Mad River Students of the Month
Each month, the district will honor one student from each of our elementary, middle schools, and Stebbins as “Mad River Students of the Month”. Students are chosen based on a display of exemplary behavior tied to PBIS and PAX character traits including friendliness, responsibility, kindness, respect, and citizenship. Recognized students will have their photos taken and shared on our Facebook page and website. They will also receive a certificate of their achievement.

The Mad River Schools District is now using ParentSquare to communicate with parents and students from Pre-K through 12th grade. ParentSquare is a simple and safe way to connect and communicate. It replaces previous communication apps such as Remind, ClassDojo, SeeSaw, Band and more.
