CEP and No-Cost Lunch for All Students: All students will benefit from the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), providing no-cost lunch to everyone. This initiative ensures that every student has access to nutritious meals, promoting better learning and overall well-being.
The CEP includes one breakfast meal and one lunch meal for each student every full day that school is in session. Additional meals may be purchased at the following prices:
Elementary $2.25
Spinning Hills $2.35
Mad River Middle $2.40
Stebbins $2.50
There is still an additional cost to purchase à la carte items. À la carte items include, but are not limited to, snacks, bottled water, doubles, and extras.
Breakfast will be served at no cost to all Mad River Local Schools
What Does This Mean for Your Child?
- Free Meals for All: Every student, regardless of household income, can enjoy nutritious and delicious meals at no cost. Packers are also welcome to a meal to supplement the lunch brought from home.
- High-Quality Standards: Our meals will continue to meet the USDA nutritional guidelines, ensuring your child gets balanced and healthy options every day.
- Convenience and Savings: Families will save both time and money without the need to pack lunches or pay for school meals.
Why CEP is Beneficial:
- Accessibility: Ensures that all students have access to healthy meals, promoting better focus and learning in the classroom.
- Inclusivity: No child will go hungry or feel different based on their ability to pay for school meals.
- Community Strength: This program fosters a stronger, healthier school community where every student can thrive.
