• Principal's Message

    Dear Brantwood Families:

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Brantwood Elementary School webpage!  The Brantwood team and I are excited to work with your child and you as we guide them through their academic journey.

I am beginning my 28th year in education. I spent my first seven years in the Mad River Local Schools as a mathematics teacher at the old Spinning Hills 7/8 building followed by 19 years as an elementary principal in another district.  This is my 2nd year as the principal at Brantwood and I consider it an honor and privilege to be back in the Riverside community as a building principal. I will continue to partner with Mad River families to provide the very best for the students at Brantwood.

Brantwood is such a special place to learn and grow. We are proud of our beautiful school and have high expectations for every student.  Our students are kind, compassionate, and eager to learn.  Together with our dedicated staff, we strive to connect with students to help them feel valued, accepted, and safe. Our overarching goal is to encourage active student engagement to foster a lifetime love for learning.

Throughout the year, we will provide numerous opportunities for parents and families to actively participate in their child's education. From Back to School Night to school-wide events and volunteer opportunities, we encourage you to get involved and become an integral part of our school community. Your support and partnership are invaluable in creating a positive and enriching experience for our students.

I invite you to explore our school website and familiarize yourself with the resources and information available. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our school office at 937-237-4270. We are here to assist you and ensure a smooth transition into the new school year.

Together we will create a wonderful year of growth and learning filled with peace, productivity, health, and happiness!  The possibilities are endless!
