Casey Morter

-I graduated from Wittenberg University in 2007 with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and also a minor in Spanish. In the Fall of 2010, I received my Master's degree from Wright State University.

-I love sports. I played basketball in high school and for 2 years in college. I grew up loving basketball because my dad is a coach. He taught me to work hard and believe in myself. He is the head coach of the Stebbins Girls Basketball team. I am one of his assistant coaches.

-I am the oldest of 6 kids.

-I am married to Josh Morter, who is a paraprofessional aide at the Preschool and also an assistant coach for the Stebbins Girls Basketball team.

-I have 5 boys: Cam (age 7), Caleb (age 5), Garrett (age 3), and my twins, Gavin and Connor (age 1).

-My dad is from Pittsburgh….so I love the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins!

-This is my 14^th year teaching Preschool. I love teaching Preschool! I believe that teaching kids at a young age sets them up for a successful future. I know how important this year is for your child’s education and I am excited for what we will accomplish!

-Some of my favorite things:

Food: Pizza

Fruit: Watermelon

Ice Cream: Cookies and Cream

Animals: Turtle, Wolf, Hawk

Color: Blue

Sport: Basketball

Sports Teams: Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Pittsburgh Pirates

Number: 21

Children’s Book: Scaredy Squirrel (both funny and inspirational!)
