Mad River Middle School

Currently, the seventh and eighth graders attend Mad River Middle School. Mad River Middle School offers outstanding academic and social preparation for the challenges of high school. Exciting courses and programs focus on preparing students for success in high school and in their educational pursuits. Like Spinning Hills, our 7-8 grade building provides a top-quality learning environment. The building has spacious classrooms, science and computer labs, a gymnasium, a cafeteria, and an instrumental room. 

The Mad River Middle School Community offers students interested in science, technology, engineering, and math an inquiry-based, inter-disciplinary environment to explore diverse STEM topics within their traditional subjects as well as unique STEM-driven subjects. Students work with their parents and school to design Individual Career Plans to assist them in making informed educational decisions as they prepare for the future. Students are able to take courses in English, social studies, math, and science in addition to many varied electives. The school consistently has a large number of our student body on the Honor Roll.

Our students enjoy a variety of extra-curricular activities. Our Middle School band and student artwork are proudly displayed throughout the school. National Junior Honor Society and Student Council leaders engage their peers in many activities and celebrations. Stebbins Indian pride is reflected by the number of boys and girls participating in sports.
