Today (March 30, 2020) Governor DeWine announced all K-12 schools in the state remain closed and continue remote learning through Friday, May 1. In order to continue remote learning in Mad River, and honor the week originally scheduled for Spring Break, the first set of packets will be due on Monday, April 13. We are finalizing our plan for packet collection and for new Instructional Education Packets to be distributed the week of April 13. The collection and redistribution plan will be communicated by Friday, April 3rd.
The second round of packets will be due Monday, May 4. During the time of the continued closure, our teaching staff members will be available to students during normal school hours through email, Classdojo, Remind, or the other electronic platforms that have been utilized by our staff over the past 2 weeks.
Our food service department will also be working on plans to continue our weekly food distributions to families in need for the weeks of April 6, April 13, April 20and April 27. The times and locations of the food distributions will be coming out later this week.
As we continue to work through the COVID-19 pandemic, we appreciate your patience. This is something that none of us have ever experienced in our lifetime and we must work together to get though this.
