Mad River is excited to announce that we have transitioned from Blackboard to a new communication system called ParentSquare. ParentSquare is a comprehensive communications platform that offers enhanced engagement features, including a user-friendly mobile app, two-way language translation, and more!
This unified platform will initially serve as a district and school-building communication tool, allowing us to send emails, text messages, and phone calls. Families will have the flexibility to receive information as it arrives or opt for a convenient daily digest each evening. Throughout the school year, the district will phase in additional features such as attendance notifications, reporting absences, classroom and group messaging, and more.
In July families received an email from ParentSquare to activate their accounts and download the ParentSquare app. Invitation links only last for 24 hours. You can go to the ParentSquare login page here and activate your account with the same email address we have on file for you. Families will need to confirm their email and phone number to activate their accounts. The best way to utilize ParentSquare is by downloading the ParentSquare mobile app through iOS here or Android here.
In the notifications section, families will be able to customize their settings to determine how they would like to receive information and can turn on text messaging. Click here for help using Parent Square.

All school and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text, or you can download the free App. The Help & Support question mark in the top right corner can help answer most of your questions.
